Our Story
Two Paperdolls was founded in fall of 2000, by Vanessa Kreckel and her childhood best friend, Suzanne Cogan Gallagher. Not satisfied with invitations and stationeries they came across while planning their own weddings, the two designed and produced their own handmade invitations… Soon, family members and friends were asking for the duo’s creative invites and before long, the pair was working nights and weekends to keep up with the demands of their growing invitation business. In spring of 2003, Vanessa left her job as a graphic designer at the University of Pennsylvania and struck out on her own to open a small design studio in Wayne, Pa.
In the years since, the Two Paperdolls staff has grown exponentially, and the varied talents of Vanessa and the team have allowed the studio to grow in new and exciting ways. Having just expanded into a larger studio and office space, Two Paperdolls still remains true to our beginnings in social stationery, while constantly expanding our options for corporate identity design and in-house letterpress printing.
